Terms & limitations.

NoteSprig is a website feedback application supplied as a starter for an owner-controlled deployment. No business identity, support contact, service contract, or payment destination has been configured. The deployment owner must review and replace these terms as appropriate before providing a public service.

Use the widget on sites you control

Install the widget only on a hostname you own or are authorized to manage. Production activation requires hostname verification. Do not submit credentials, unlawful material, or information you are not authorized to share. A guest token permits feedback collection for its assigned project; it does not authorize access to existing reports.

Measured limits

The application allows 5 projects per workspace, 20 reports and 20 screenshot uploads per project per calendar month, and optional PNG or JPEG screenshots of up to 300 KB each. Each project retains at most 200 reports or 1.5 MiB of serialized report data, whichever is reached first, and 100 guest-grant records with at most 5 active. Public collection is rate-limited. New collection or grant creation is refused at the applicable ceiling; existing records remain available for authorized review and export.

Screenshots and browser support

Screenshots are optional attachments. Screen capture depends on browser support, a secure connection, and the reporter’s explicit browser permission. Screens, other windows, cross-origin frames, and private information can appear in a capture. Review the preview before attaching it. Browser details describe the reporting device and do not establish the cause of a reported problem.

Access and record recovery

Protect workspace access keys and guest collection tokens. Workspace owners control member access, guest grants, retention, and project deletion. The application rejects stale edits rather than overwriting newer work. Export a versioned JSON backup when you need a portable record; image files are not embedded in JSON exports.

Project deletion and retention cleanup remove stored information. The application does not promise archival preservation, recovery from every failure, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for regulated records.

Payments and future features

No paid plan or payment processing is included. Tipping is optional and currently unconfigured. The core workflows do not require a tip. Email digests, GitHub issue creation, and other integrations are outside this version.
